Enjoy week-end of uninterrupted quilting time in a beautiful small northern Wisconsin village. Camps are held at the Saint Croix Inn located on the Lake Saint Croix, the head waters of the Saint Croix River. Solon Springs is located approximately 30 miles south of Superior Wisconsin off of highway 53, or 35 miles north of Spooner Wisconsin off highway 53. Bring your bathing suits! The Inn has a swimming pool and hot tub. The room you will be quilting in has large windows and over looks Lake Saint Croix. It is beautiful any time of the year. If the weather is right you may want to have your walking shoes along. Nearby Lucius Woods has wonderful walking trails and the quilt shop is only 2 blocks up the hill from the Inn. We will be serving a light meal on Thursday night, all three meals Friday and Saturday and brunch on Sunday. Check-in time for your room at the Inn is at 2:00 PM however; you may come downstairs anytime after 8:00AM Thursday and set up your area. You may want to check-out of the Inn before Sunday brunch, check-out time is 11:00AM but we have a show and tell following brunch. You may stay and sew until 2:00PM Sunday afternoon, we will provide ironing boards and irons for you. Due to high electrical demand we ask that you leave your irons at home. We also have an area for cutting and laying out your pieces and have several design walls for your convenience. You will want to bring your cutting mats, rotary cutters, and rulers. You may also want to have a chair pad, ott light, power strip, and snacks to share if you wish. You may want to bring a covered cup if you like to have a beverage while you work ...Better safe than sorry! We provide coffee, tea and hot water all day. If you wish there is a full bar upstairs.
